A study of information resources and services in the health sciences. The identification, acquisition, organization and use of information resources in both print and electronic forms in health sciences libraries and specialized information centres. The role of the librarian and information specialist is examined in relation to the changing health care environment. Use of MEDLINE and other databases produced by the US National Library of Medicine is required.
