Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)  Scholarships

Masters or PhD students with undergraduate degrees in science or engineering may be eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must apply to the Faculty of Information by the Faculty deadline announced each Fall for awards to be made for the following academic session. For more information, visit the NSERC website.

Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Ontario Graduate Scholarships

Beginning with the 2013-14 competition, the University of Toronto will be responsible for awarding the scholarships held at U of T and will provide a centralized on-line application available to students via the School of Graduate Studies website.

Deadline for current students:  All degree programs - March 1, 2015  

No late applications will be accepted.

Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Fellowship

Graduate students may be eligible to apply for a fellowship in the humanities and social sciences (approximate value $17,000) offered by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council(SSHRC).

Awards are restricted to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents.
