2017-2018 Mackenzie King Scholarships

Two classes of Mackenzie King Scholarships are available to graduates of Canadian universities. See the 2017-2018 Mackenzie King Scholarships Award Announcement. Completed applications are due directly to the Graduate Awards Office at School of Graduate Studies (SGS) 4:30pm January 16, 2017.

UTAPS Application Deadline for Out-of-Province Students – Extended to February 1st

Students who applied to OSAP (Ontario loans) are automatically considered for UTAPS. Out-of Province Students must apply DIRECTLY BY FEBRUARY 1, 2017.

SGS Wellness Workshops

SGS is offering a series of Wellness Workshops to help you develop coping skills to meet the demands of university, work, and personal life.
Where: The School of Graduate Studies, 65 St. George Street, room 201.
When: Mondays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on the following dates. Bring your lunch!

To register, call the Health & Wellness Centre at 416-978-8030 or contact your intake counsellor/clinician.
Registration is limited to 20 participants; register early. If you have accessibility accommodation needs, please advise during your registration.
If you can't make it in person, you can complete the workshop series by registering online for the webinar series.
The UofT Health & Wellness Centre also offers workshops on Better Coping Skills help you build the skills you need to thrive.

Canadian Association for Information Science Conference – Call for Proposals

Next year's Canadian Association for Information Science (CAIS) conference will be held at Ryerson University in downtown Toronto from May 31 to June 2nd. The conference will be particularly exciting with a keynote address by Marcia Bates and an inaugural doctoral forum that Marcia will be part of. We also hope to get some submissions that relate to Dr. Bates' body of work, especially her concept of the "red thread of information".
