#26-15 | Bye-School - End of Year Party

iSchool, Bye-School, get it? Sick of this theme already? Well, sorry but our year end party is approaching fast and we're getting excited and iSchool patriotic! For some, school's going to be out forever; for others, school's just out for the summer. But whatever category you fall under, come and celebrate the start of summer at The Pilot (22 Cumberland St, Toronto - 2nd floor "Stealth Lounge") on Saturday, April 8th at 8:30 pm! This event is free for all - MI, MMSt, alum, and guests included. Some appetizers will be provided (courtesy of MISC and FIAA). All the fun will be had. So be there or be iSquare.

No RSVP is required but feel free to check out the Facebook event as we count down with fun memes, gifs and YouTube clips:

Best of luck with the rest of your semesters and we look forward to celebrating with you all!

#25-2 | Final Reminder: Coffee Chats

Hello –

You are invited to a ‘Coffee Chat’ to share your ideas and thoughts about ways to improve services for students. Your feedback will help as we prioritize work plans for the next year. Some ‘starter’ topics include:

  1. What can Student Services do better, differently, more of (less of), etc to support you?
  2. What experiences have helped and/or hindered your success to date in your studies at the iSchool?
  3. If you had a magic iSchool wand, what would you change?
  4. Open comments/questions

Coffee will be supplied – along with a few baked goodies.

Please email christinegrace [dot] chanatutoronto [dot] ca if you wish to attend – and include your preferred date. Space is limited to 15 persons per Chat event. If the session you’ve requested is full, then we will notify you of additional dates.

  • Thursday, March 9, 2017: 12-1pm (BL728)

I look forward to speaking with you in person.

Please note:

  • All ACORN/ROSI waitlists will be cancelled the evening prior to the deadline date and you will automatically be removed from all waitlists (though iSchool Student Services will copy all waitlists before they are deleted by the system).
  • Late drop requests after the deadline are normally only considered for documented health or other serious personal circumstances and will need approval of the iSchool Committee on Standing, or the external graduate unit offering the course, and the School of Graduate Studies. See Academic Regulations for detailed instructions on requesting a late withdrawal from a course.
  • As per SGS: Waiting for mid-terms or graded assignments to see how you are doing is not an acceptable reason for a late drop.
